Are you there, Lord?
In war’s darkening sky
Do you hear, Lord?
as innocents cry
When you see Lord
The wrongs that are done
Don’t abandon us
Don’t turn and run
But give us mercy
And time to learn
Teach us your love Lord
For which we yearn
Don’t leave us stranded
With last chances spent
Soften our hearts
In this coming Lent
That we may do
Your will on earth
And bring peace to this world
And bring peace to Ukraine
in love’s re-birth
