OUTDOOR CLEANUP:   PART 2

Landscaping committee needs a few volunteers who enjoy gardening,  to help us clean up the foliage from the bulbs, plant a few plants, and spruce St. John’s grounds up before our new Bishop visits us.   We are hoping that we can finish up our work this Saturday, June 10th starting at 9 a.m., weather-permitting.  The forecast predicted at present would be a cool night before,(in the 50’s) and a high temp Sat. at 77 degrees.
The chores that need to be done would require any/ or all of the following, depending on the work to be done:  loppers,  rake, trowel, garden shears, gloves, a pad to kneel on, and a cold drink.   We will have trash bags available;  and we will have some goodies when we take a break!
This will not be as extensive and time-consuming as our clean-up at the beginning of May.  We had a wonderful group in May helping to groom the grounds, and I think everyone who was there thought we got a lot accomplished, and had a great time working together.   Gardening is fun, and even more fun when we have a chance to visit and work together!      Please call either Martie or Jim  if you have any concerns or questions.
