We will soon receive the names of 30 angels (children with a parent in prison). Each year we ask our parishioners to choose an angel tag from our bulletin board to provide a Christmas gift and pray for their angel over the advent season.
In the past, we have shopped for the specific gifts requested by each child’s parent and presented this to the children/families in mid-December. So many of our manufacturers were affected by the pandemic creating shortages of many items that we would want to purchase for these children. To avoid disappointing our angels this year, we will again provide WalMart gift cards in the amount of $25 to be mailed out in mid-December. This allows the children to choose a gift that is available to take home.
Please choose an Angel Tag from the bulletin board outside of the office in mid-November, submit name with a $25 check. We will purchase and mail the gift cards.
