Dear God,
I give thanks for:
The love and support from my family.
The enthusiasm of and love from our pets who help us endure these difficult times.
The upcoming warmer weather.
I also pray for:
People who have died from COVID-19.
Those who are recovering from COVID-19
Those who are mourning for lost loved ones.
The hungry.
Successful efforts to feed the hungry.
Those who are suffering from loneliness.
Stable, happy families.
Acceptance of differences in our fellow citizens.
Loving our neighbors as we love ourselves.
Peace between the Ukraine and Russia.
A prayer for Peace from the Episcopal Church Book of Common prayer.
Eternal God, in whose perfect kingdom no sword is drawn but the sword of righteousness, no strength known but the strength of love: So mightily spread abroad your Spirit, that all peoples may be gathered under the banner of the Prince of Peace, as children of one Father; to whom be dominion and glory, now and for ever. Amen.
